No, you cannot transfer tools using the desktop interface.
We designed ShareMyToolbox as a "Mobile Authentic" application, meaning that each platform is best suited for certain types of transactions. With that in mind, the desktop is great for reporting, setup and user management, whereas mobile devices are optimized for quick searches and workflow. However, for those wanting to do transaction entry (tool assignment and checkin) on the desktop there is an option available. Once you have downloaded and installed Bluestacks, you can download and run any Android app on your Windows computer as long as you have a Google Play account (or Gmail address).
